The US today refrained from either conforming or denying news reports emanating from Pakistan that Washington has restricted the movement of Pakistani diplomats beyond a radius of 25 miles.
"We have no comment on this," a State Department spokesperson told PTI when asked about the news being reported by a news channel in Pakistan.
According to Bol News which is part of the Dawn News Group, from May 1, Pakistani diplomats will be restricted to within 25 miles radius of its embassy in Washington DC. Special permission will be required from the Department of State for any travel beyond this restriction.
Notably, the US diplomats in Pakistan face several travel restrictions.
