Romanian authorities say a US military plane with a cracked windshield has made an emergency landing at an air base in eastern Romania.
Romanian transportation ministry said the C-17 Galaxy aircraft had 15 people on board. There was no information about the cause of the crack.
Airport director Cristian Moldoveanu said the plane landed safely today afternoon at the US air base in Mihail Kogalniceanu on the Black Sea. Firefighters and ambulances were sent to the airport ahead of the landing. The plane was travelling from Jordan to the US military base in Ramstein, Germany.
