The US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster today met Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at the Raj Bhavan here.
"Issues pertaining to promoting bilateral relations between India and USA, especially in the sectors of business and education were discussed," an official spokesperson said.
Maharashtra Chief Secretary Sumit Mullick and the Consul General of the United States in Mumbai Edgard Kagan were present, he said.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to India Nikolay Kudashev also met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan separately, he said.
"Issues of promoting business, trade and cultural relations between Maharashtra and Russia were discussed," he said.
Mullick and Consul General of Russia in Mumbai Andrei Zhiltsov were present at the meeting, he said.
