Use diplomatic pressure to isolate Pak internationally: Bhatt

Observing that war was not the answer to the escalating tension between the neighbouring countries, Bhatt said the issue of soldiers' killing and beheading of one of them along the LoC in Kashmir should be properly addressed, but with words, not weapons.

"Our government should undoubtedly confront Pakistan and diplomatically pursue the matter at the international level to highlight the wrongs committed by our neighbour. Pakistan should also be isolated in the international community," Bhatt told PTI here.

Highlighting the role of civil society in raising issues, Bhatt said the people of Pakistan should be reached out to so that they are not misled by those elements who are against peace between the two countries.

 

"Films and music are not just for making business, but these are effective tools and ways of touching the hearts of people, be it in India or in Pakistan," Bhatt said.
