Delhi Police today asked women bikers to use helmets and also strap them well while driving and spread the message of road safety by becoming role models for others.
More than 200 women two-wheeler riders including women police officers of Delhi participated at the "Women Safe Rally" organised by Delhi Traffic Police today on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Delhi Police Commissioner, B S Bassi flagged of the rally organised to promote the use of helmets among women riders, pillion riders and encourage safe riding.

Bassi also encouraged them to take up training in unarmed combat for their safety.
"This will enable and empower women to be confident in public life. The training will also make them physically mentally fit to help the society," he said.
Participants, on the occasion, shared their experiences with the fellow riders and other police officers.
