Drug firm Strides Arcolab's oral dosage manufacturing unit at Bengaluru has been found acceptable by the US health regulator after an inspection.
"The company's Oral Dosage Facility (KRS Gardens) at Bangalore has been found acceptable by the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA)," Strides Arcolab said in a filing to BSE.
The inspection was carried out in August 2014, it added.

"The oral dosage facility in Bangalore manufactures oral dosage forms such as tablets, capsules (both hard gelatine and soft gelatine) and sachets," Strides Arcolab said.
The manufacturing plant supports important current and future submissions for the US market, it added.
Shares of Strides Arcolab today closed at Rs 932.10 per scrip on BSE, up 3.45% from its previous close.
