India's pop icon Usha Uthup today dedicated the popular Hindi track "Maa" to her mother and all the moms on the occasion of International Mother's Day.

"I dedicate the 'Meri Maa' song of 'Taare Zameen Par' to all the mothers of the world without whom none of us would have seen the light of the day," Usha told PTI in presence of her daughter.

The effervescent singing legend, who set up her own trademark style in Hindi playback and jazz numbers, said 'Meri Maa'- the Shankar Mahadevan song in the Aamir Khan-starrer- remains her all time favourite encapsulating Indian sentiments.

"I also dedicate the song to my own mother. I wish could sing the song to her," she wistfully added.

Usha, the crooner of ever popular tracks like "Rambha Ho" and "Hari Om Hari", was handed over a 3D Selfie called 'Mini Mee' by her daughter Anjali at her studio.

The selfie model was a miniature sculpture made of paper pulp replete with her trademark bindi, bright coloured saree and containing minute facial features.

"I had never seen anything like this. It is so real me on a minuscule scale," she said.
