Uttarakhand govt offers financial help to scribe's family

The Uttarakhand government today offered a financial assistance of Rs five lakh to the next of kin of journalist Rajan Todaria who died here recently.

MLA Subodh Uniyal visited Todaria's residence here and handed a bank draft of Rs five lakh to his wife on behalf of the state government.

Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna had also paid a visit to Todaris's house and promised to give all financial help to his family.

Todaria died after a brief illness on February five.
