Uttarakhand Kranti Dal today dismissed senior party leader Kashi Singh Airi from the party for indulging in anti-party activities during the recently concluded civic body polls in the state.

"Airi has been dismissed from UKD on the recommendation of the party's disciplinary committee," party president Trivendra Singh Panwar said.

Airi, who was UKD's patron, worked as an agent of the ruling Congress during the just concluded civic body polls and issued statements against his own party, Panwar alleged.

UKD, an ally of the ruling Congress in Uttarakhand, withdrew support to the party a few months back.
