Uttarakhand Forest Minister Dinesh Agarwal's helicopter today made an emergency landing due to inclement weather in Mirzapur area here, police said.
The chopper that was on its way to Dehradun with Agarwal on board landed in the campus of a private university here.
The chopper, due to inclement weather, made an emergency landing in the Glocal University campus, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Jagdish Sharma said.
Since the university authorities were not informed about the landing, its security guards surrounded the chopper suspecting danger, Sharma said.
Later, on receiving information about the Uttarakhand minister being present in the chopper, the guards withdrew and Agarwal left for Dehradun in a car, the ASP added.
