Multi-brand retail chain V-Mart has reported an increase of 81.21 per cent in its standalone net profit at Rs 27.20 crore for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 15.01 crore in October-December quarter in the year-ago period, V-Mart said in a BSE filing.
V-Mart's total income from operation was up 23.28 per cent to Rs 326.89 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 265.14 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

Shares of V-Mart were trading at Rs 536 on BSE, up 5.10 per cent from previous close.
