Oxford University Press (OUP) India has appointed V Sivaramakrishnan as the Managing Director, with regional responsibilities including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
Oxford University Press has been operating in India for over hundred years.
He will join OUP India from Manipal Global Education Services.

"He will join the Press in mid-November this year and the senior management team for OUP India will report directly to him. He will also join the Asia Education divisional board of OUP," the organisation said in a statement.
He also spent nearly ten years with the Ford Motor and held various consumer branding roles within Proctor and Gamble.
"Siva's leadership of our growing operation in India will use his experience in the education services sector to further enhance the Press' deep understanding of publishing for schools, colleges and Universities," Adrian Mellor - Managing Director, Asia Education said.
Incumbent OUP India Managing Director Ranjan Kaul will be retiring at the end of November, after 14 years in the organisation.
