VA Tech WABAG Ltd today said it has bagged Rs 386 crore order from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
"VA Tech WABAG Ltd, a leading pure play water technology Indian multinational player in water and waste water treatment and recycling, won a Rs 386 crore design, build and operate order from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) for a 150 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) at K&C Valley in Bengaluru," the company said in a statement.
The plant will be build and designed by the company to meet the stringent guidelines of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) policy mechanism.
"The plant will be designed based on an Activated Sludge Process with Biological Nutrient Removal System and Power Generation," it said.
