Water treatment company VA Tech Wabag has crossed an order intake of Rs 3,000 crore during the nine month period ended December 31.
"During the beginning of the year, the company had an order intake of Rs 2,600 crore. The order intake during the third quarter ending December 31, 2013, crossed Rs 1,000 crore," the city-based company said in a statement.
"This is the first time in the history of the company that we have been able to achieve our order intake in the first nine months of the year...," VA Tech Wabag Managing Director Rajiv Mittal said.
The company has won various operations and maintenance contracts during the third quarter ended December 31, which contributed in the company's success of more than Rs 3,000 crore order take till date, the release added.
