John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are in early talks to pen the relaunch of Sony's "Spider-Man" franchise.
The duo, who are set with their directorial debut "Vacation", a reboot of the 1983 film, are being considered to pen the "Spider Man" reboot, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Ironically, the duo were among the finalists for the directing the movie but director Jon Watts, of the upcoming indie thriller "Cop Car" was chosen.

Tom Holland is playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man and will make his first appearance in Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" before heading the reboot.
Daley and Goldstein are most known for their comedy work, "Horrible Bosses" and its sequel, "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" and "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs".
