A 22-year-old man was arrested today for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor boy at the premises of a government hospital in outer Delhi's Rohini sub-city, police said today.

The accused has been identified as Deepak, a vagabond, usually seen around Sector 6 in Rohini. He has been booked under Section 377 of IPC and relevant sections of POCSO Act, said a senior police official.

The victim is an 11-year-old boy whose father sells food articles in a cart outside the premises of the government hospital, said the official.

According to the police, the incident was reported around three days ago when the accused allegedly lured the boy and took him to the hospital premises, where he allegedly sodomised him at a secluded ward on the fourth floor and fled.
