"Modi will not be there in Gandhinagar after the Assembly polls to implement the decision of creation of new districts and talukas as BJP will be wiped out and Congress will come to power in the state after a gap of about 17 years," he said.
The chairman of the electioneering committee of the state Congress was addressing public meetings held at Zalod and Lunawada in Panchmahal district today.
"When I was Chief Minister, I made the announcement of creation of three new districts of Narmada, Dohad and Tapi in tribal belt and honoured it," he said.
