"The attitude of the UPA government is an insult to Tamil sentiment," Vaiko told reporters here after meeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
"Despite our objection to Rajapaksa`s visit, the Madhya Pradesh government went ahead and invited him," Vaiko said.
The party holds Rajapaksa responsible for the alleged atrocities on Tamils in that country.
