A Vishno Devi bound pilgrim has died of heart attack near the Bhairon temple in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ram Kumar Aggarwal (53), a resident of West Bengal, was taken in a health centre by fellow pilgrims after he complained of breathlessness yesterday, a police officer said.
The doctors at the health centre declared Aggarwal as brought dead, and said that he died following a massive cardiac arrest.
The body was handed over to the family members, who were accompanying him, after conducting all the legal formalities, the officer said.
