Rapper-turned-reality TV star Vanilla Ice is back on the road after surviving Hurricane Matthew by hunkering down at his home in Florida.
The 43-year-old rapper, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, took to Twitter and told fans he had no plans to evacuate, despite watching the then-category four storm race towards his Palm Beach property, reported Contactmusic.
"This hurricane is serious and coming right at me," he wrote.
"Right now things are pretty calm, but you know what that means, the calm before the storm."
He later added, "I am right on the ocean in Palm Beach looking at evil darkness sky coming with the hurricane.
