The Science and Technology Minister took stock of the situation of roads, drains, pump house and sump-wells and asked details of the projects.
After listening to the promoters, he directed the officials to ensure that the grade separator project is completed at the earliest so that the movement of traffic could be eased on the stretch, according to a North Delhi Municipal Corporation statement.

Vardhan was accompanied by Mayor of North Delhi Yogendra Chandolia, Chairman Standing Committee Mohan Bhardwaj, Chairman Works Committee Parvesh Wahi and Municipal Commissioner Praveen Gupta.
The progress of the grade separator project could not gain momentum due to provision of allotting an alternative land for religious places coming in its way and some private properties coming into the alignment, Chandolia said.
Now, the work will gain momentum as alternative lands have been allotted to the religious places and compensations have been paid to the private property owners, he added.
Bhardwaj said the Railways has been given Rs 28.93 crore for clearing the site for the road under bridge project under their jurisdiction.
About 46 per cent of the total work has been completed on the project, Bhardwaj said.
The grade separator project has been planned to decongest the Azad Market area and will provide relief to citizens in Bada Hindu Rao and Barafkhana areas from traffic jams.
