The Minister has directed the Indian Embassy in Washington and the Consul General in Chicago to ensure all possible assistance to the families of the victims.
Ravi has also expressed his heart-felt condolences to the families of the victims.
On August 5, six persons were killed and three critically injured when a gunman opened fire inside a gurudwara in Wisconsin. The gunman was shot and killed by a police officer.
Four of the six victims killed in the shooting incident are Indian nationals, one of them being a recent visitor from India.
