VE Commercial Vehicles today reported a 9.3 per cent increase in total sales in February at 5,499 units.
It had sold 5,032 units in the same period last year.
The company, a joint venture between Sweden's Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, said total sales of Eicher-branded trucks and buses also increased by 9 per cent to 5,379 units in February compared to 4,936 units in the corresponding month last year.

Exports of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 551 units in February as against 672 in the same month last year, down 18 per cent.
Volvo trucks sold 120 units last month compared to 96 units in February 2016, up 25 per cent, the company added.
