The Bolero vehicle was heading towards Siliguri from Gangtok when it collided with the LPG tanker at the 29th mile on NH31A and fell into the river Teesta, the sources said.
Both the vehicle and its driver Sanjay Khawas has not yet been traced, they said adding search was on.
