Vehicle stolen from police station, 2 cops suspended

A police emergency response vehicle was allegedly stolen from northeast Delhi's Seelampur police station, after which two policemen were suspended.

The vehicle was found in Ghazipur area today, police said.

A resident of Badaun, Veerpal, was held in connection with the theft last night, said a senior police officer.

The accused is mentally unstable, he added.

Two policemen -- a constable and a head constable -- have been suspended for negligence, he added.
