Haryana government today increased the limit of vehicle loan and home loan to be availed by the Members of Legislative Assembly.
Now an MLA could avail a vehicle loan of Rs 20 lakh instead of Rs 10 lakh earlier, and housing loan of Rs 60 lakh instead of Rs 40 lakh, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced this today.
Apart from this, he also announced to increase the amount to be given to MLAs for hiring their Private Secretary from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.

The Chief Minister announced this at a programme organised to distribute laptops and printers to MLAs at Haryana Vidhan Sabha here.
He said the laptops and printers have been distributed to MLAs under a programme to make the proceedings of Haryana Vidhan Sabha paperless.
"This would ensure speedy and effective exchange of information," he added.
He said today e-library is available on the computer wherein lot of information and data could be stored. He said since the formation, his government was also giving stress on the e-delivery of services.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Kanwar Pal Gujjar said laptops and printers have been given to MLAs with an objective to make the proceedings of the House paper less.
He said during the recent Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, copy of budget has been provided to MLAs in CDs so as to make the work paper free.
