The scheme will also be extended to those labourers who have worked under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) for 15 days and did not have a BPL card, an official spokesman said here today.
He said that a campaign would be launched in the state from August 1 to October 31 to enroll members under the scheme.
Under the scheme, each BPL family gets reimbursement of medical bills up to Rs 30,000.
The Haryana government had last week extended the benefit of the scheme to street vendors.
