Haryana Government today declared February 7 as closed day (holiday) for all shops and commercial establishments falling within the jurisdictional limits of the state to enable voters of Delhi to cast their votes in the Assembly elections.
A notification to this effect has been issued by Labour Department today, an official spokesman said.
"The holiday has been declared on February 7 to provide opportuinity to those who are working in Haryana and enrolled as voter in Delhi to exercise their franchise," the spokesman said.
