Vera Farmiga and John Leguizamo have come aboard the cast of Ava DuVernay's project "Central Park Five".
The limited series by Netflix, will be written and directed by DuVernay.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it will also feature Michael Kenneth Williams in a pivotal role.
The four-episode show is based on the case of five teenagers of colour who were wrongly convicted for the rape of a jogger in 1989. When they are exonerated after 25 years, they sue the city for their time in prison.
Farmiga, 44, will play Elizabeth Lederer, the Manhattan Assistant District Attorney and lead prosecutor on the case, while 53-year-old Leguizamo will portray Raymond Santana Sr, the father of accused teen Raymond Santana Jr.

Williams will essay the role of Bobby McCray, devoted father of accused teen Antron McCray.
The project, which is expected to premiere next year, will be produced by Jeff Skoll, Jonathan King, Oprah Winfrey, Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh.
DuVernay will also serve as the executive producer.
