Vertically challenged couple gets married at shrine

A vertically challenged couple today entered into wedlock at the famous Meenakshi Amman temple here.

The two and half feet tall bridegroom Ramji (27) married Mumbai-based Yogitha (also 27), who is three feet tall, with relatives and friends thronging the shrine to bless them.

Both are BBA graduates.

Ramji is the son of Marudhu Murukeshan and Janaki of Madurai.

The two families got to know each other through a matrimonial website and Yogitha's family had invited Ramji's to Mumbai following which the marriage date was fixed.

The engagement was held here last night.

After the marriage, Ramji, who is working in a mobile firm, told reporters that he had acted in few films including "Madurai to Theni Vazhi Andipatti", and "Anil".
 

He said his parents had searched for him a suitable girl from various places including Madurai. "Finally, I got my life partner, Yogitha," he said, adding, "we will work together and live happily.
