Hemdev previously tried to release a Korean horror movie dubbed in English in India but the Censor Board refused as they found the content too explicit.

"A few years back I tried releasing 'Saw 3' here but the Censor Board didn't give me a green signal despite showing them the watered down version of the film. A few years later I saw the film being showed on Star movies and I was shocked I even wrote a letter to the Board but they didn't reply," Hemdev told PTI.

However, he is happy to bring a 3D CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) movie based on a dinosaur family in Indian theatres. The film released yesterday in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

"It is a small budget Korean film and is shot in 3D. It does not have any human figures and is shot in real location of New Zealand. We really liked the concept of the movie so decided to distribute it in India. The quality of Korean films is very good. It is a commercial film and a complete entertainer," Hemdev added.

Another film which he is trying to release in India is horror flick "The Possession", which is currently on number 1 in US charts.

"I am trying to release that movie in October. I will be showing it to the Censor Board soon and I hope they agree to let it be screened here," he said.
