"He has been admitted to a private hospital in the city. He will undergo several medical check-ups. There is nothing to be worried," party leader and former state Agriculture Minister Naren Dey told PTI.
Dey said that as per complaint by the 90-year-old leader, the cardiologists examined him thoroughly and said that condition of his heart was absolutely normal.
"A lung infection is being suspected," Dey said adding, "We are expecting he will be released soon."
