Veteran journalist Nalin Chottopadhyay died at the state general hospital in Howrah early today due to old-age related illness, family sources said.
He was 92 and is survived by his wife and a daughter.
Chottopadhyay was a staff reporter for over three decades till 1987 in the now defunct leading Bengali daily "Jugantar" and later worked as a freelance journalist for some years.
He was admitted to the hospital on January 8.
