Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) today took exception to Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's appeal to Chief Ministers to ensure that no innocent Muslim youth is wrongfully detained in terror cases.
The organisation said that it will sow bad seeds among communities.
"This is irrelevant and destructive. It will sow bad seeds among various communities," VHP state president Ramakant Dubey told reporters here.
"Such statement will definitely damage the national interest and encourage the extremist elements who have become a big concern for the nation," he said.
