The Arunachal Pradesh unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad today criticised the Maharashtra government for not showing the state in the map of India in its geography text books.
The VHP said that the Education Department of the state had committed a blunder by showing the Northeastern state as a part of the territory of China.
"Such kind of mistake will not only aggravate the border tension between India and China, but also weaken the international stand as far as the unity and integrity of the nation is concerned," the VHP said in a communique.
