VHP leader Ashok Singhal meets ailing Swami Dayanand Giri

VHP supremo Ashok Singhal today met ailing Swami Dayanand Giri, who has been admitted to hospital near Dehradun, official said.

Singh went to Himalayan Institute situated at Jolly Grant near Dehradun where Giri has been kept under supervision.

Later, Singhal went to Dayanand's ashram here where he will stay tonight, Muni Ki Reti police station official Manoj Negi said.

Dayanand was admitted to hospital for Hemodialysis last week.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Rishikesh on September 11 to meet Swami Dayanand Giri who has been indisposed for some time. Modi spent some time with Giri at his ashram in Sheeshamjhadi area of Rishikesh.
