Vice prez Ansari attends 'Shauryanjali'

Vice President Hamid Ansari today visited 'Shauryanjali' -- an exhibition organised here to mark the golden jubilee of the 1965 Indo-Pakistan War.

Ansari spent about an hour at the exhibition on the lawns of the India Gate. Today was the last day of the exhibition, which began on September 15.

The exhibition attracted thousands of people, including dignitaries like President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Cabinet colleagues.

Recreating the scenes of the 1965 Indo-Pak War, Shauryanjali was organised by the Defence Ministry.
