Fashion designer Victoria Beckham is set to receive one of the highest honors in England from the Queen.

The former pop star has been named to the Queen's Honours List for 2017 for her contributions to fashion and her charity work, reported People magazine.

Beckham was named a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador in 2014 and has worked to spread awareness of HIV and AIDS.

She will receive an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in the New Year, joining a list of fellow designers who have received the honor, including Jimmy Choo and Sarah Burton.

Her husband, David Beckham, was a recipient in 2003 for his contributions to English football (soccer) as well as for his philanthropic work.

Beckham/Posh Spice will be the first member of the Spice Girls to receive the honor.
