Pop group Spice Girls will reportedly tour Australia in 2014 sans bandmember Victoria Beckham.

The news of the tour came from an announcement on a radio show on Wednesday morning, but the fashion designer has opted out of it, reported Sun online.

"All the Spice Girls will be touring Australia. No official announcement has been made, but I have a source, a very reliable source," a radio presenter told listeners.

There has yet been no official announcement on the tour from promoters or the singers themselves.

But Victoria's spokesperson has denied her involvement, saying, "Victoria has no plans to tour with the Spice Girls in 2014. Her future focus concerns her family and fashion business."

The Spice Girls left many Australians disappointed in 2008 when they cut their world tour short and cancelled all dates due to 'family and personal commitments'.

A month ago, a tabloid had reported that it was unlikely the group would tour as Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell had had a 'falling out'.

There had also been constant rumours that Beckham wanted to distance herself from the group and concentrate on her career as a fashion designer.

Amidst rumours, all five members reunited to perform at London Olympic Games closing ceremony but Beckham had tweeted that she was a pop star "just for the night".
