Victory margin of over 50K at six seats; lowest at Najafgarh

As many as six AAP candidates today came out victorious defeating their nearest rivals by over 50,000 votes with the highest margin of 77,665 votes recorded by the party's Vikaspuri candidate Mahinder Yadav.

The narrowest margin was recorded at Najafgarh where AAP's Kailash Gahlot defeated his nearest INLD rival by a mere 1,555 votes.

In four seats, the victory margin was less than 5,000 votes.

In Vikaspuri, Yadav won by the highest margin over his nearest BJP rival Sanjay Singh. AAP's Sanjay Jha triumphed over BJP contestant Gopal Jha by a huge margin of 67,950 votes in Burari.

Okhla, Deoli, Sultanpur Majra and Bawana were other constituencies where the margin of victory was over 50,000 votes.
 

The constituencies which witnessed close contests include Krishna Nagar, Shakur Basti and Laxmi Nagar.

In Krishna Nagar, AAP's S K Bagga defeated BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi by a low margin of 2,277 votes.
