A video of two senior IPS officers, including a senior superintendent of police, today went viral on social media in which they were purportedly seen arguing during a security meeting before the prime minister's visit.

The video was shot on June 18 and in it SP, Special Investigation Team (SIT), Nageshwar Singh could be seen arguing with SSP, Lucknow, Deepak Kumar for coming late at the security briefing.

"It's 6.30 pm. We are sitting here since 5 pm and even water was not given," Singh was seen saying in the video as soon as the SSP entered.

The SSP reacted to it saying, "You can leave if you don't want to do your duty." To this, Singh replied, "I will not leave on your direction. I will only leave when your deputy inspector general of police (DIG) asks me to do so."

The SSP later started the meeting clarifying that the meeting was scheduled at 6 pm only.
