Grammy-award winning musician Ricky Kej in association with Proyog, a Bengaluru based yoga wear startup, and ad filmmaker Little have come up with a new video that showcases India as the birthplace of yoga and theme of unity and diversity.

The video - Proyog: From the birthplace of Yoga - was released on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube on International Yoga Day, and so far it has managed to get over 43,000 hits altogether, on the trio's separate social media pages including Youtube and Facebook.

Dave Bannerjee, a serial entrepreneur and one of the co-founders of Proyog, is optimistic of crossing a million viewers very soon.

"We are getting very good reviews. I would think we will cross a million viewers very soon," he said.

Kej said the intention behind the video was to showcase India as the birthplace of yoga.

"The intention is to showcase India as the birthplace of yoga instead of showcasing the product and you would see there are no products shown," he told PTI.

Kej said being associated with the project is a gift to the country after winning the Grammy.

"It was like my gift to the country after I won the Grammy in terms of music and that is why I am proud of it, and posting it on Facebook," he said.

He said Little has showcased India's spiritualism and the theme of unity in diversity beautifully.

Bannerjee said Little came up with the idea to do something big with quite a bit of investment.

"Actually it was Little who came up with this idea to do something big. He was nervous and we were very nervous. It was quite a bit of investment," he said.
