The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has ordered a quick verification on a complaint by a CPI(M) MLA against Kerala Food and Civil Supplies Minister Annop Jacob over alleged corruption.
The order in this regard had been issued by the Vigilance Director on the complaint filed by CPI-M MLA V Sivankutty accusing Jacob of indulging in corruption and irregularities in appointments in the state civil supplies corporation.
Sivankutty had alleged that the minister had indulged in corruption to a tune of Rs 36.5 crore.
