A village head was seriously injured after being shot at by three assailants at his house in Khudda village of the district, police said today.
Mohd. Uvesh was shot at last evening by three motorcycle-borne assailants and rushed to a hospital in a serious condition.
Uvesh's brother Musavir was murdered in 2005 when he was the village head, police said, adding the incident was a fallout of old enmity.
