The brother of Gaura Tikri village head was shot dead by unidentified persons allegedly over some old enmity in Karaundikalan area here, police said today.
Harendra Singh (30), brother of village head Rajendra Singh, was shot at by unidentified persons near Vishwanathganj Bazar last night while he was returning home, Station House Officer R C Chaudhary said.
Chaudhary said Harendra died while he was being taken to the district hospital and the body has been sent for post mortem.
