Nearly three dozens people fell ill after drinking contaminated water from a well in a village near here in Madhya Pradesh, officials said today.
The well is located in Batamtara village, about 40km from the district headquarters, they said.
The affected people, numbering nearly three dozens and including women and children, were admitted to the Community Health Centre at Chapara last night, Block Medical Officer Dr D Banerjee told PTI today.
The patients complained of colic, vomiting and frequent bowel movements, he said, adding all of them are now out of danger.
