Villagers kill wild boar after it injures three persons

A wild boar was today killed by the villagers after it injured three persons in Kathara village under Jama police station limits in Dumka district, forest department officials said.

The wild boar came out from a bush and attacked Ramkishan Panjiara, Bamlesh and Ranjeet Rana, who suffered injuries, they said adding, soon after the incident the villagers chased the boar and fatally attacked the animal near Keraboni.

Divisional Forest Officer Abhisekh Kumar said a team has been sent to investigate the incident and those accused of killing the animal were being identified to register an FIR against them.
