"Vinyl" showrunner Terence Winter is leaving after just one season over creative differences.
"Bourne Ultimatum" screenwriter Scott Z Burns is taking over and will also be executive producing the series with another new recruit, "Godzilla" writer Max Borenstein, reported Deadline.
"As we head into the second season of 'Vinyl', we have decided it is an appropriate time to make a change in the creative direction of the show," HBO said.
