Virat Kohli fined for slow over rate

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli was today fined after his side were found to have maintained a slow over rate during their IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad here.

At the end of the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore were assessed to be three overs behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration.

Since it was his first offence of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Kohli was fined USD 20,000.

RCB beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets with Kohli hitting a match-winning knock of 93 not out.
