Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today inaugurated the Medical Sciences University in Mandi district and laid the foundation stone of a building of Shimla Press Club.
He also laid the foundation stone of Rs 22-crore 'Tandi Sangam Ghat' to be constructed on the confluence of river Chandra and Bhaga in Lahaul valley, an official said.
The chief minister also laid the foundation stone of Rs 50 crore worth development projects in the poll-bound state's Karsog area.

All the projects were inaugurated via video-conference, ahead of the imposition of model code of conduct in the state.
The Election Commission today said the Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh will be held in a single phase on November 9 and the results will be declared on December 18.
